It took at least 10 tries to recognize Jet as a man, another 4 tries to get Alex to be something other than a K Pop star. It rolled Nick back to high school, and apparently, I am now Neil Patrick Harris? For some reason, AI loves Dennis. Here is one of our earlier tries. Can you pick out David or Jet?
November 29th will mark our 6th year as Casino Quest.
For Alex, Nick, Dennis, Jet, and me, 6 years is the longest any of us has held the same job.
It's crazy to think of how far we have come together and how much we have all impacted each other's lives. The journey we have shared is remarkable and today, we give thanks that we are all still healthy and together and still focused on the path ahead as a team.
We started by accident. One strange turn into another. Then a few fans kicked in, and a few more, and a few more, and before long, a whole community of people all sharing the journey together, the memories, the laughs, the wins, and yes, the losses.
This year, as much as we celebrate the wins, we are also reminded of the losses, some of which we learn from, others we shed tears, it's all part of the story, our own personal narrative made more powerful by the people, the family and friends we surround ourselves with.
There is no price to be laid at the foot of what makes us all special. Not all the days are wins, not all the holidays are special; it's the whole journey of all the good and bad with which we build a legacy of life together as a community.
No matter where you are, who you are with, or at what stage of life, just know it is a moment in time, just one small part of our collective experience.
Right now, in this moment, we give thanks for having you on our journey.
